Are you factory-certified by Tesla, and why should that matter to me?

Yes, Avio Coach Craft is a Tesla Approved Body Shop. That means our technicians complete Tesla’s aluminum-body training, we use proprietary repair manuals and diagnostic software, and every job meets the automaker’s safety and paint-finish standards. Choosing a Tesla-Approved shop protects your battery and body-structure warranties and helps maintain resale value. Using any regular, non-certified body shop puts your vehicle at risk with aftermarket, non-approved parts and can affect your warranty coverage.

Do you install genuine Tesla parts for collision repairs and panel replacements?

Absolutely. We source OEM Tesla aluminum panels, bumpers, and sensors directly from Tesla’s parts network. Using authentic components ensures precise fit, proper Autopilot calibration, and preserves your vehicle’s structural integrity—something aftermarket parts can’t guarantee.

How long does a typical Tesla body repair take from drop-off to delivery?

Most cosmetic repairs (e.g., bumper or door skin) take 3–7 business days. Structural collision work that requires frame straightening or battery-pack shielding averages 7–14 days, subject to parts availability. We provide real-time status updates so you always know where your Tesla is in the process.

Will my Tesla’s Autopilot and safety sensors be recalibrated after repairs?

Yes. Post-repair, we perform Tesla Toolbox 3 diagnostics and dynamic road calibrations to align cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors. This factory procedure restores Full Self-Driving (FSD) and Autopilot functions to exact Tesla specifications before we return the car to you.

Do you work with insurance companies, and will repairs affect my factory warranty?

We handle the entire insurance claim—from digital estimate to final supplement—so you don’t have to. Because we follow Tesla’s approved repair methods and use OEM parts, your factory battery, drive-unit, and corrosion warranties remain fully intact.

How much should I expect to pay for Tesla body repairs, and is the lowest estimate always the best option?

Exact pricing depends on damage severity, OEM part availability, and the calibrations required for Autopilot sensors—so quotes can vary widely between shops. A bargain-basement estimate often signals shortcuts like aftermarket panels, skipped battery isolation procedures, or no post-repair sensor calibration. We price every job to Tesla’s factory standards, using genuine parts and certified technicians, so you leave with a vehicle that’s as safe and precise as the day it rolled off the line.
